Victoria started in the Tian Lab as an intern during her senior year at Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College at Florida Atlantic University. As an intern, she worked under the mentorship of Alessio Andreoni to develop a far-red-shifted glutamate biosensor. Victoria now works full-time as the lab's research technician and continues to help develop various glutamate sensors for in vitro and in vivo imaging. Outside of the lab, her time gravitates towards exchanging ideas and stories with others, reading, writing and listening to music at really loud volumes.
